I'm creating this blog to keep in touch with my few friends. And also because I don't have very much contact with the world outside of my little prison so this might be a way for me to communicate. Well with this blog I hope to keep my friends from forgetting about me as I do not reach out as often as I should and I hope that maybe some other folks might stumble upon the blog and maybe, just maybe find some of the posts interesting. Probably not, whatever.
For those who don't know me, the Hermit is a swell guy. Friendly, nice, intelligent and good sense of humor. However due to circumstance, unlucky coincidences and medical conditions the hermit became.....well a hermit. Even though he is a hermit, he pays close attention to what's going on, especially culturally. Not too difficult nowadays with all these media devices. The Hermit also pays close attention on his rare trips outside.
The hermit is male, 30's, lives in New York. If you would like to contact the hermit, feel free to email him haplesshermit@yahoo.com He will get back to you soon....unless it's a bad day then it may take a while.

These are just a few things off the top of my head. The Hermit's taste is eclectic and sometimes esoteric. However, even though he is a hermit, he does try to remain aware of the latest fads. He just doesn't have to like them.
